continuous redial

Tired of getting busy signals? Let Continuous Redial keep calling the number for you until the line becomes free. Your phone will give a special ring when the person you are trying to reach has ended their call and if you pick up the phone it dials the number for you.

To use Continuous Redial:

1. When you hear a busy signal, hang-up. Pick the phone back up and press * 6 6 (or dial 1166 from a rotary phone).
2. If the line is still busy, hang up. Your phone will check the number for up to 30 minutes.
3. A special callback ring alerts you if the line becomes free.
4. When you hear the special ring, pick up the handset to automatically place the call.

To cancel Continuous Redial:

1. Press *86 (or dial 1186 from a rotary phone). A message will tell you that the feature has been canceled.
2. Hang up.
