Getting Started
Your computer must be equipped with at least Windows 95 and a NIC
(Network Interface Card) before Wireless Broadband can be supported. FairPoint
can supply you with a NIC card for $35, if needed, and can be professionally
installed free of charge.
Professional Installation
- includes a complete and comprehensive installation of the wireless
connection on your home computer by an experienced FairPoint technician
- can usually be scheduled and completed in 3-5 business days
Equipment
A wireless modem is needed to convert the radio signal from the wireless
antenna to the Internet connection on your computer. You will receive free
use of a wireless modem for as long as you subscribe to FairPoint Wireless
Broadband Service. The modem will be connected during installation and must be
returned upon cancellation of service.

In addition to great service, you also get great support! We offer several
different support options for your convenience. Choose from telephone
support, online support or on-site technical assistance.
Availability
FairPoint Wireless Broadband is available to residents of East Selah and
Pomona. Availability depends upon your distance and location relative to our
wireless equipment. Service is not available in all areas. Because it is a
wireless signal, you don't have to be an existing customer of FairPoint Communications
